RBR850 issues with Xbox downloads and windows update
Once I bypass the Orbi and go directly into my modem which is a Pace 5268ac (att gigapower) it starts right away and gets 300-400 MBs. I’ve replicated this multiple times.
Anyone else seeing these issues? Any known fixes?
I have the orbi in Router mode with and have it configured for DMZplus on the att modem since there is no true bypass. That gets rid of the double NAT. Only reason I don’t run it in AP mode is then I wouldn’t have upnp.
Just to add this is happening when wired or wirelessly connected to the orbi. Bypassing orbi and being wired to the Pace fixes it.

Re: RBR850 issues with Xbox downloads and windows update
The issue is your ISP modem. These modems have had known issues with NG Orbi systems, AC and AX.

Is this the only model modem the ISP offers?
If the xbox works behind the modem, then you can configure AP mode on the Orbi AX and the modem will handle uPnP.
Not sure if this would be a work around for you to try and use the Orbi in router mode:
