Once the WiFi is changed:
- The new SSID does not appear as an available WiFi choice on devices?
phones, laptops, etc.? - Or, the SSID appears, but attempting to enter the password and connect fails?

I had forgotten that two weeks ago when I was on the phone with Netgear support, that when I clicked on the wireless page, I got an error message saying the router was rebooting, please wait. That started them needing to "review my case and get back to me". Since then, all I've gotten was the run around on how they are still reviewing the case. Today, when I was talking to you, I noticed that my work computer would connect to the wireless page, so I hard wired in, changed my PW to the generic one you advised, then changed it to my original special PW and I was able to connect.
Now, back to the original problem that started this whole mess.... Currently, 52 devises reconnected. I honestly don't remember who many I should have connected. Last time none of my Alexa devises reconnected, this time they all seemed to have connected. So for NOW, I'm good. I will save all the information and if I lose power and "can't find an IP address", then I will try all the suggestions again.
