I then went into the web interface for the router and see it also shows the satellites as offline. I tried removing it me satellite and factory resetting it and then pairing it with router again. While I was able to pair it, and my Status page on the router web interface shows 3 satellites, when I then go into attached devices in the web interface I now only see 2 satellites ( and those 2 are still both offline).
I tried rebooting router with no change.
Everything is working so not sure what is going on.
Any suggestion’s appreciated.

I have an RBR860 with 3 satellites that were working great. Today I noticed that in my app the satellites all appear as offline but are still transmitting fine. I went into the web interface for each satellite and they show all connected.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Orbi Mesh Systems - NETGEAR Communities
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
Just another user with a set of boilerplate macros.

Re: RBR860 - Satellites not showing as connected
What modem/gateway is your orbi connected to?
what firmware is on the router and the satellites?
Everything's working fine other than its not displaying properly?
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
