RBRE960: Can it replace my BT Smart Hub
Hi, I'm looking at purchasing the RBRE960 Mesh Router and have a question.
I currently have an FTTP box on the wall with a BT Smart Hub 2 connected to it.
I wanted to know if I can simply replace my BT Smart Hub 2 with the Orbi RBRE960. It says this product is a router so I'd expect to be able to do this but cannot find any definitive answers. I really don't want to fork out for the RBRE960 and find it doesn't do what I require.
I know I can probably connect the RBRE960 to my existing BT Smart Hub but that kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing an Orbi Router.
I'd appreciate it if someone could offer some advice
Kind regards
Mark.

Re: RBRE960: Can it replace my BT Smart Hub
Something to ask the ISP about and see what the ISP requires and allows.
Ask them about any WAN side configurations, i.e. static or PPPoE.
If DHCP then possible just a power off of the ISP modem/ONT with the RBR and back ON maybe all that's needed.
Good Luck.
