RBS350-Compatiblity with RBR850

Hello,

I have ORBI Mesh system AX6000 system with the below configuration. 

Satellite RBS850 [Firmware v7.2.6.31]

Router RBR850 [Firmware v7.2.6.31] 

I would like to add another satellite RBS350 [Firmware v7.2.6.31]

I would like to know which firmware is supported. Right now, It says "Out of Sync" when connected  to router via ethernet cable.

I see the firmware latest information and would like to know what needs to be done to sync with router.

Firmware v7.2.6.31 is not available for the RBS350.

The latest firmware available for the RBS350 is v4.4.1.29

(In my opinion) Netgear has created a nightmare for customers by claiming that the RBS350 is compatible with routers when it clearly is not.  At one point in time, the RBS350 was compatible with a specific firmware release for the RBR750 and RBR850 routers, but then Netgear released version 7 firmware for them and did not release updated firmware for the RBS350.

If you can figure out which of the previous firmware versions of the RBR850 were compatible, you could manually downgrade the firmware to that release and the RBS350 would work. Of course, the new features and bug fixes that version 7 firmware bring to the 850 product would not be available.

There are posts every week on the forum where customers have discovered this situation.

Sorry.  If there is some way to return the RBS350 and get your money back, that is the optimal way forward.
