Rbk753, high latency while ping to 192.168.1.1

I see high latemcy while pinging the router 192.168.1.1 over wifi

My tplink small router gave me range of latency from 1ms to 11ms.where 1ms was 90 in 100 times.

This netgear device gives me latency from 50 to 159ms.

How is that possible?

I am sitting at 1 m distance.

Have you found a solution to this? Not sure if I'm experiencing the same issue, I haven't checked my internet speed, pings, and if I have high latency. But I do occasionally experience slower site loading times since I switched routers.
