Red LED always on in AP Mode

I use my RBR350 in AP mode. The status LED is permanently red after boot up which I presume is because there is nothing connected to the WAN port. There doesn't appear to be any way to turn this LED off. I would have expected that the LED would always be off in AP mode since no connection to the WAN port is normal.

The status page shows internet connection is good. Is this a firmware "bug"?

Re: Red LED always on in AP Mode

In AP mode, you should have the wan port on the RBR350 connected to your router

Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity

Re: Red LED always on in AP Mode

Thanks for that. I hadn't realised that. I had thought that the WAN port was only for a modem connection. I switched it over and now the light is off and Internet is good. As a bonus i get an extra port on the RBR350.
