Replacing Google mesh with Orbi RBR850 resulting in “No Internet”
I am replacing a working Google Mesh with a brand new Orbi RBR850. It was a rough install needing to “retry” almost every step. Got to the end then internet spotty culminating to “no internet”. Put the Google mesh back on and the internet is fine.
I use a NETGEAR CM1100 Cable modem.
Any solutions to get the Orbi working??

Re: Replacing Google mesh with Orbi RBR850 resulting in “No Internet”
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Be sure your using WAN port #1 on the CM modem and the other port is not used. The other WAN port can be used by the ISP if they support having two WAN IPs. Most ISP only support 1 WAN IP address.
