Satellite (RBS850) no longer accessible

Good Afternoon -
I was away this past week, and my wife noted that we had some storms and power blips in the house. She mentioned that we had FiOS problems, so I brought up the Orbi app on my phone - and saw that the Router was up (and connected to the internet), and one of the two satellites was up. I told her not to worry about it - I'll take care of it when I come home. Some background, I was part of the beta program, and the 850 router and 2 satellites have been running the latest firmware for about a month without issue.
Got home yesterday and logged into the website and saw both satellites listed, but one of them noted that the backhaul was disconnected, so I proceeded to reboot the device. Gave it some time, and no changes to the status.
Then thought I'll remove it and re-add it to the system, so I deleted the device from the attached devices list. First, I tried to 'Sync' it - by pressing the button on the satellite, then the Router. Both blinked white, but nothing. I have tried a few times - same results.
I then attempted to factory reset the satellite - pressed the reset button till I got blinking amber, and then attempted the add satellite procedure - nothing. I repeated this procedure multiple times with the same negative results.
What I've observed so far.
- Logging into the website, I see it noting two satellite devices, but only 1 is displayed. A search of the mac address on the device page returns zero results. Conversely, the ORBI app shows only the 1 active satellite.
- If I reboot the 'factory reset' satellite, it blinks white while it boots up, then displays a solid blue.
- The power light on the back of the satellite is green
- I get the same results when I follow the 'add satellite' procedure via the web or app. Press the sync button on the satellite - then both the satellite and route blink white. On the app, I get a message that it can't find a satellite. Via the web, I get a message that the setup failed.
- I had a Phillips Hue hub attached to this satellite via ethernet and when it was in this 'disconnected' backhaul status, my wife was able to still control devices. When I removed this hub from the system we were unable to control devices. Additional info - I have a hue hub in the basement and this one supported the top floor devices so makes sense that they would not see the other hub - but think that this means that the hub was connected and passing traffic even though the backhaul status was noted as disconnected.
Additonal info that I've tried since I drafted the above.
- I also read that I should unplug the other satellite so that they don't connect.
- I tried a few more times to factory reset - and got the flashing amber and then flashing white. Never a solid white - supposedly the starting point for the 'sync' process.
- If I attempt to sync from the flashing white, both the router and satellite flash white, with the satellite quickly turning solid blue. Then, after a while, the web page displays "Satellite setup failed."
It almost seems that the satellite still has a 'configuration saved" and is connecting.
Any ideas?

Good Evening - was able to get the 2nd RBS up and connected.
What I did (and not sure which action(s) resolved the issue.
- Regenerated BH password.
- Re-sync'd good RBS after password update
- Rebooted RBR
- Noticed that in device list that RBS had earlier hostname.
- Powered up 'factory reset' RBS and gave solid magenta (rather than previous solid blue)
- Pressed Sync on RBR and then sync on RBS - after a few moments, got solid blue on 2nd RBS
- Checked Web app and saw two RBS - with FS RBS as out of sync for backhaul. Gave it a few minutes and was then good. Moved both RBS's to proper locations within house and looking good.
- Web app now shows the proper device hostname for one RBS. The FS RBS still shows older/previous hostname, but is functioning properly.
Not sure if it was the RBR reboot (like it was keeping some of the RBS info cached) or the BH password update.
All good now - thanks!

Re: Satellite (RBS850) no longer accessible
What FW version is loaded on the RBR and RBS?
Did you first REMOVE the one RBS from the RBRs web page after powering it OFF. Then try to re-sync using the RBS button and RBR web page Add Satellite function?
I'd turn OFF The other RBS while trying this.
I would bring the one RBS to same room and the RBR for ease of working with it and the RBR.
MIght try generating a new BH password on the RBR, however when you do this both RBS will need to be re-synced.

Re: Satellite (RBS850) no longer accessible
Thank you - responses keyed to questions.
For firmware, RBR and RBS are both at v7.2.6.21 (they were updated during the beta testing, and before this occurred with one of the RBS last week I had no issues)
Can't recall if I removed it first from the webpage or powered it off first.
Tried to add the satellite with the other RBS powered down and within a few feet of each other. No luck. After factory reset, both holding till blinking amber and 30/30/30 procedure, never got a solid white.
Will try generating a new BH password when I get the ability to bring down the wifi network?
Is the thinking that if I generate a new BH password, then this would stop the RBS from providing the solid blue (which I get if I just reboot it) - even though I've attempted a factory reset on it many times?
Will advise

Re: Satellite (RBS850) no longer accessible
No, generating new BH pw just gives new passwork to sync to for the RBS as seems like if the pw gets out of whack on either unit, getting a new one can help.
FR on both RBR and RBS and walking thru the setup wizard didn't get this one RBS synced?
When I FR, I press the reset button on the RBS for 15 seconds then release. Use the ERASE button on the RBR to FR it.
I will let the RBS auto sync to the RBR before I start walking thru the setup wizard. They can and will sync after reset and they have pre programming to sync to the RBR from the Mfr line. After the RBS turn blue, it when I start the setup wizard and during the detect RBS stage, it will see or should see both RBS.
Hoping the one RBS isn't bad for some unknown reason.

Re: Satellite (RBS850) no longer accessible
Sounds like a reboot of the RBR was helpful.
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
