Hi,

I bought an Orbi Router and 2 Satellite system. I have a small house, and it was probably overkill. I only need one router and 1 Satellite.

Would I have any issue breaking up the pair of Satelllites, and selling one of the Satellites to a friend (who has an Orbi router)?

Are there any limitations, and can you break up a set, and sell the Satellite?

As long as your friend has an AX system you will both be good. Currently, Orbi WiFi 6 Systems are only compatible with Orbi WiFi 6 satellites.

You can sell the satellite without issues. It should pair with your friends system fine if the systems are compatible.

Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80

Thank you. That makes sense. It must be the same Wifi 6 version, but as long as that requirement is met, we should be good.
