Just found the bit you were talking about and It actually shows both satellites are using connection type ‘5G’

Okay so I've just dug a little deeper, and found that on both satellites it says ‘backhaul status poor’
How do i fix this? & will this be whats causing my issues?

If you can get a size in sq ft, would be good to know this.
Try bringing all RBS to near or same room as the RBR and take note of the WLAN Backhaul speeds seen at the RBR.
Also try swapping RBS with each other to see if problem follows or remains at the remote location.Graduate walking the RBS out from the RBR while checking the status, once it appears to go from GOOD to Poor, then you'll know to back up the distance a bit so it remain in the GOOD Status.

So am i right in saying the backhaul status changes based on how close/far the satellites are from the router?
If this is the case i’ll never be able to fix this, as the distance between both is necessary, it makes no sense that the rbr50 could handle the distance, but the 763 cannot
Surely the distance and coverage on the newer system is and should be better? - CrimpOnOct 29, 2024Guru - Experienced User

Netgear provides 90 days of 'complimentary support' with a purchase from an authorized reseller. This would seem to be an ideal situation to ask then about.
p.s. I wanted to confirm that the RBR50 and the RBR760 use exactly the same WiFi channels for the backhaul connection, but the user manual for the RBR760 does not contain the same information as the RBR50 manual. (i.e. "oops. nothing there.")

For that size of home, of that size is accurate, the RBR would only be needed. Maybe 1 RBS out at 30 feet if you can do that then turn down the power on the RBR to 25%.
That size of home having two RBS would be too much wifi signal.

How do i ‘turn down the power’ on one of the satellites? This is not possible. The Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab, Advanced Settings has an entry for Wireless Settings.
This allows the Transmit Power for the 2.4G and 5G WiFi channels to be adjusted from 100% down to 25%.
Changing this setting affects every Orbi unit. (The Backhaul WiFi power cannot be managed by the user.)
