I have a RBK853 system (two satellites). One is wired, one is wireless.
On the main page it says I have one satellite (the wireless one) and when I try and check for new FW it only shows one, but on the devices page I can see both satellites. How do I get the main router to properly recognise the other (wired) satellite?
Using V4.6.3.16_2.0.51 and the router is in AP mode.

That didn't help, but thanks for the suggestion - it made sense to test that.
In the end (in desparation) I factory reset the whole thing - satellites, main router, the lot.
And now it works.

Re: Status/Firmware Upd shows 1 Satellite - but there are 2 connected
This only happens when it's wired.
If I disconnect the hard wire and connect it wirelessly, then there's no problem at all and it shows two devices.

Is the wired RBS directly connected to the back of the RBR or is there a LAN swtich in between the RBR and RBS?

There's a switch - but there always has been.
I switched the main device from Router to Access Point, and this has occured ever since.

The satellite works .. it's just not detected on -some- of the screens of the main router.
It is on the devices page, though.

What do you see if you remove this switch from the mix and a quck test? Directly connect the RBS to the back of the RBR?

Re: Status/Firmware Upd shows 1 Satellite - but there are 2 connected
Glad the reset worked, was going to be my next suggestion.
Please mark your thread as solved so others will know.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
