Suddenly our RBR750 stopped accepting incoming connection, and the Orbi no longer accepts logins.
Last night, our RBR750 crashed, and when restarted, it would no longer accept logins. All the (possible) "admin" passwords ar get a "Login failed" error, including the one that came with the RBR570 ("windytomato362" ;-), or the one I set up that worked until last night and I haven't changed, so I can't reconfigure anything.
It still works for connection our in-house wi-fi and ethernet, whose machines can talk to each other and to the outside world. But outsiders can't connect to our house. It's not a problem with our supplier (RCN), because the modem shows every light blinking, include the ones labelled as for incoming and outgoing data. The only likely reason is that the "Orbi" router is now messed up, and won't talk to the Orbi App on this Macbook,
Is there a way of fixing this so I can login with the Orbi app, or do I have to resort to a total "factory reset" and see if that works? That would mean a lot of time reconfiguring everything, of course, and my past history is that Netgear's telephone support folks aren't much help for that, since it involves questions involving our local machines, which all came from other sources (like this Apple Macbook Pro I'm typing on;-).

Any progress on this?
Did you try the recovery method to get in via PC and web browser? Enter in a password incorrectly 3 times and should get a recovery wizard here. Can try using Orbi app however if all this fails, you'll need to factory reset and setup from scratch. Try following this PDF process for that: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-WIFI-6-AX-AND-Wi-Fi-6E-AXE/Procedure-for-Factory-reset-of-RBS8...
