Switch Selection (RBK852 wired backhaul setup)
I'm looking at doing a wired backhaul on a pair of (or possibly 3 if necessary) Orbi AX6000s. I have cat6 pulled to the main rooms in my house running back to a central switch area in the basement. What's the best way to setup the AX6000 system?
I've read the wired backhaul requires an unmanaged switch, so would having an unmanaged switch connecting all the lines with one Orbi in router mode on one end of the house (single cat6 running back to switch) and one in AP mode on the other end be the best way to go or is there a better approach?
Also is the Orbi system able to provide all (or some) of the funcitonality of a managed switch in terms of monitoring, firewall, etc?
Thanks in advance for the advice. I'm far from an IT wizard so want to make sure I don't waste a bunch of money on a setup that's not going to work for me.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch in the configuration?

Yes is recommended to have a unmanaged, non green ethernet switch if you plan to wire connect RBS to the RBR, router or AP mode. As you can see, the RBS need to be connected behind the RBR for proper connection and operation when ethernet connected.
30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
