Using same SSID for 2 different Orbi Mesh systems
I have a CBR750 cable modem and satellite and they work well. I received last year, a RBRE960 router and 2 satellites. Together, the two systems give me good coverage in my 2 story house. I setup the second system with a different SSID, not knowing if there would be issues if they were named the same. I know I can't just join the RBRE960 mesh to the CBR750, but wonder if I named them the same SSID, I could simplify my network. Anyone have experience with this? If it wasn't possible, I was thinking of just using the CBR750 as a cable modem, then using the RBRE960 only as the wireless network and adding a satellite. thanks.

Re: Using same SSID for 2 different Orbi Mesh systems
You can name them the same but your roaming won't be as efficient and devices might be sticky. You'd be better off to either leave them separate or like you said, use the cbr750 as modem only.
How big is your home? the RBKE963 provides quite a bit of coverage.
