Very Expensive Orbi Rout RBR850 - several devices failing to connect
Had this product for about 18 months. Now finding devices failing to connect to the wifi on a regular basis. Unfortunately the paltry 90 days support has now expired - atrocious support from Netgear! Why if your products are worth the heafty price tag dont you offer longer support . Router rebooted several times. Firmware up to date. All Satellites well within specified range. Any advice would be welcome.

Re: Very Expensive Orbi Rout RBR850 - several devices failing to connect
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What devices do you have all connected?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Re: Very Expensive Orbi Rout RBR850 - several devices failing to connect
Orbi will work very well if configurded correctly and if the network to which it's connected is healthy.
- Please make sure that you don't have multiple routing (multiple NAT). Please check that the ISP modem is not functioning as a router if Orbi is operating in router mode.
- Please make sure no device in your network is causing IP loops. Devices that have both active Ethernet and Wifi interfaces is an example. Also mesh wifi speakers can cause such issues.
- Please make sure that no other device in the network is acting as a DHCP server apart from the main router.

Would be helpful to know what sort of devices are failing to connect.
- Did these devices connect correctly in the past?
- What is the indication that devices are not connecting?
- An error message on the device?
- No longer appearing on smartphone applications?
