orbi access point mode change
HI guys,
I just bought the 3 piece mesh set up.
I need to make the modem enter access point mode as I need to retain the original IINET TP Link modem to get the system to work.
Any ideas?

Why? A better option might be to work lout how to get the anonymous (no model number) IINET TP Link modem to work in bridge (modem only) mode.
Your choice, but start with a different question – how to get the Orbi system to work with the TP Link modem – and you get different answers.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. Do you mean that you want to put the Orbi in access point mode?
Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Use the router as a WiFi access point - FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
Please confirm the Orbi model your using. Is it the Orbi 350 series?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.Of you need the Orbi in AP mode, review this:
