AC3000 RBK50 true mesh?
Hi Everybody,
I would like to purchase RBK50, but has two question need to confirm:
1. RBK50 or 40 even 30,20, is this compatiable with 802.11s and 802.11v protocol.
Because I want to know which one is true mesh and seamless wi-fi.
2. For the obri, compatiable with other brand mesh product? such as google wifi or other?

Re: AC3000 RBK50 true mesh?
Hello @RouSong,
1. According to our specs sheet, Orbi is compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz–256 QAM support and IEEE 802.11a/n/ac 5GHz-256 QAM support.
-Orbi is not a true mesh as it runs on star topology. However, Orbi does offer seamless wifi as it provides features such as fast-roaming, MU-MIMO, beamforming, and runs on a tri-band wifi system.
2. Orbi devices work best together as Orbi satellites only work with an Orbi base router.
Hopefully this answers your questions!
