I currently have the NETGEAR Orbi Home WiFi System: AC2200 Tri-Band Home Network - Router & Wall Plug Satellite running in my home. I would like to add an AC3000 to the system. My question is: Can the (added) AC3000 be used wirelessly and still allow me to use the Ethernet ports on that AC3000 for a direct connect to and additional item? OR Must the AC3000 be connectly directly to my Cable Modem? Thanks, very kindly, in advance!

The router unit can not be used as a satellite but you can connect any version of the satellite to a orbi router.
