Amazon Smart Plug

Amazon offered me their smart plug for $1, so I bought one. Configured using the Alexa app while my phone was connected to Orbi at 5G.  "no problem."  (I was not happy that the setup provided options to NOT store the WiFi password with Amazon but I could not get the box to check.)  Provided me with at least $1 of entertainment, and it's now joining the collection in my "smart plug box".

Will not be purchasing more because (a) they are seriously over priced,  (b) they are physically wider than many of my other smart plugs, and (c) other cheaper and smaller plugs also "work with Alexa".  People who are immersed in the Amazon Alexa Universe with exclusively Amazon products might consider it.

Anyway, another 2.4G smart plug that requires no tedious steps to configure.

For reference, you can delete all/any of your Amazon-saved wifi passswords by visiting: https://www.amazon.com/mn/dcw/myx.html#/home/settings/payment - Click the little down button along the very right and next to "Saved Wi-Fi Passwords" to expose the "Delete" button.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I was simply annoyed that the app had very clear "checkboxes" that could not be checked. (at least with my finger on my phone).  I also find it interesting that Amazon provides a method to delete all saved WiFi passwords, but not to display which WiFi SSID's passwords are stored for.  "All or  nothing."  I can see reluctance to display the actual passwords, but not even show which networks?
