Blocked web sites on mobile but not on mac

Since installing my Orbi I cant access some web sites on my mobile iphoneX. On my Mac its ok but on phone blocked. I have checked both phone and Orbi for child safety and everything is off so can't understand. If I go to another wifi spot I can access but not at home. Any one help? Allen

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

Have you setup any IP address reservations for the Mac and iPhone?

Have you enabled any Circle or Armor freatures on the RBR when you first set it up?

Hi Furrye38

The firm wear is v2.3.5.30

The modem is Virginhub3

No reserved IP addresses

No Circle set up

I have checked all safety blocks available on both iphone and router and all are set to off so no sites should be blocked. My friends get the same issue when they log into my wifi. Its only here it happens out and about on other wifi its ok so presume its something here thats causing it in Orbi?

Allen

Looks like I have done it. I went on to orbi log in and activated Standard Parental Controls. It seems its the wrong way around when its on its clear when its off it stops sites.

Re: Blocked web sites on mobile but not on mac

What mode is your VirginHub3 running in? Router mode or modem only mode?

Modem Combo Units:
This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

"It seems its the wrong way around when its on its clear when its off it stops sites." What do you mean by this?
