Can I used wired backhaul RBS50/RBS20 with new 860 series ?
I know the wireless backhaul RBS50/RBS20 is not compatible with 860 series. But I can still use RBS50/RBS20 with wired backhaul connected to 860 series and still get the mesh SSID feature working?

Re: Can I used wired backhaul RBS50/RBS20 with new 860 series ?
Wireless backhaul technology is not the only difference between the oribinal (802.11ac) Orbi product and the newer AX product line. It's a complete redesign. Notice that Netgear's table of compatible products does not even list other AX satellites as compatible with the 860 router. (not even with caveats - footnotes explaining 'not really')

And, yes, this is extremely annoying. Invest in a mesh system only to find that what we used to call a "Fork Lift Upgrade" is required.
