Can RBR50 be used as a satellite?
I have a newly installed RBK50 (RBR50 + RBS50).
Can I buy another RBK50 (~$260. I got it on sale at Amazon) and use the RBR and RBS from that as satellites for my current setup?
It is ridiculus to spend $230 for just a satellite when I can get a Router and a satellite for $30 more...
Thx.

A router is intended to be a router
a satellite is intended to be a satellite

Re: Can RBR50 be used as a satellite?
Looks like the answer is "No".
I'd probably still buy the RBK50 and maybe use the extra Router as a access point or standalone in some other smaller house like a friend or parent's house.
The single satellites are way overpriced, IMO.

Re: Can RBR50 be used as a satellite?
the official answer is no.
but if you google "convert rbr50 to rbs50" you might find a different unofficial response.
You won't find it on the official forums.
Keep in mind if you take that route, it can easily brick your device.
