Conncection problem with devices on my Orbi Tri-band
I have installed my Orbi Tri-band. I am now having an issue connecting my devices. Tablets (ipad, android tab), phones (Samsung 8), roku, direct tv are all working great. I am having an issue with connecting my Ring door camera, Honeywell thermostat, wemo plugs and swithches and so on. I get the message, "connected but no internet". I've updated all the firmware and have rebooted the modem and Orbi base and satellites (2) but no success. I don't know what else to do. Have any of you had a similar issue and if so how did you solve the problem. Thanks for the help.

Re: Conncection problem with devices on my Orbi Tri-band
What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Might try this, temporarily set WPA security on the Orbi router to Disable or OPEN. Then try to connect one of the problem devices to the routers wifi. Does it connect then does it get internet? Then try WPA and TPIK, then try WPA2 and AES only.
Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
