Connecting a 2nd router

can i hook up two orbi routers off the same modem. one will be placed away from the other about 14metres. i already have one router and 2 satellites. i have a spare router that i bought as it was cheaper to buy the 2nd satellite with it. any ideas?

RBR routers can only work as a router or in AP mode. They can't work in extender mode like the RBS satellites.

What are you trying to achieve/ what do you want to happen?
I think the real question becomes if you ISP provider/modem will actually give you two IP addresses.
You might what to start by contact them .
