Disconnecting Satellite log availability?

I have an orbi router, 2 rbs50 satellites, and a rbw30 satellite in AP mode.   I have had the system for 2 years and just recently added the rbw30 about 2 months ago to extend to the garage.   Things seemed to be working no issues for the last couple months but just started seeing one of the main satellites frequently disconnect.  I can’t tell if it’s going bad or how often it disconnects or it’s just a UI bug.   Is there a log that I can check to see how often it’s disconnecting?

Re: Disconnecting Satellite log availability?

There is a log file, on the web interface at the Advanced Tab->Administration->Logs.  I do not know if satellite connection/disconnection is logged (I have never seen either).  I set my Orbi up to email me the log file every time it fills up and I accumulate them into one big file.

I definitely see where the satellite renews the IP address via DHCP once a day.

There is also a "debug" log file that can be created on the "debug" page http://<orbi IP address>/debug.htm

I have not played around much with that, and do not remember ever seeing anything about satellite connections.

Re: Disconnecting Satellite log availability?

What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
