Re: Does Emerson WiFi Thermostat (Sensi model ST55) work with Orbi Router?

I have an Orbi currently, and am looking for a WiFi thermostat. The Emerson Sensi is simple and relatively inexpensive, but. . .
Reading through the setup instructions of the Emerson Sensi WiFi thermostat, it says that the device, which is 2.4GHz-only 802.11n, is likely to have trouble with a router that has 2 radios (2.4 & 5 GHz) both under the same SSID. The Orbi doesn't appear under their list of incompatible routers, but it sounds like there's a good chance the hookup won't work.
I had this issue with a 2.4GHz printer (Epson ET-3600) - would not connect reliably - and I had to run an ethernet cable from Orbi to the printer.
If anyone has tried the Sensi-->Orbi connection, I'd love to hear your story.
my model is RBK50, with FW V2.0.0.74
Thanks, Rich
