ekhalil I can confirm that the solution did not work in my case of RBK22. I followed all the steps. In my case the interface for the 5Ghz bachaul is ath11. I turned off the radio and brought down teh interface. I commited the changes ot the kernel. Observed that the interface comes back up by itself after a minute or 2 and I see that teh 5Ghz fronthaul SSID starts to use the higher band 5Ghz frequncy channel ( 157 in my case ).
