Orbi only works as fast as your ISP speeds are provided and can only work as well as your connected devices.
No you can not. You'd need another RBS if you want to Daisy Chain them to help extend wifi.

The Orbi "backhaul" connection between router and satellite can only be (a) a direct WiFi link between them, which is limited by how far they can be placed apart and still get a "good" signal (Blue Ring Light), or (b) an ethernet connection. The ethernet connection can be either (1) an actual ethernet cable, or (2) something that "looks and acts like" an ethernet cable, such as a pair of PowerLine adapters, a pair of WiFi "bridge" products, a pair of coax MoCHA adapters, etc.
There is no WiFi product that can be used to connect two Orbi devices over their own WiFi radios.

Re: Does Orbi RBR50 speed up the internet
Perhaps if you describe the situation, people can offer suggestions. i.e. There is an existing Orbi network and the goal is to .....?
For example, WiFi radios "radiate" omnidirectionally. So, an Orbi placed on the outside wall of a house, will project a signal "outside". That's how my patios get WiFi from my Orbi. 100 ft away? No way.

Re: Does Orbi RBR50 speed up the internet
I have an existing Orbi router & sattelite set up but want to use an extender after the satellite to extend the signal to an outdoor room in my backyard.
Is this possible ?

Sonething you can try to see if it will connect. Some extenders may not connect or be compatible.
