Does my plug in orbi extend the range off the router or the other satellite?
I bought the orbi plug in to extend the range in my house. Does it extend off the router or the other satellite? Also it lists the devises on each satellite but the signal strength is low on the devic...
Depends if you have Daisy Chain enabled or not. If Daisy Chain is disabled, the plug in will connect to the router base. If Daisy Chain is enabled, then the plug in may connect to the satellite.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.
If you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually.
