E-mail Authentification fails RBR50
Trying to upgrade my firmware. Before getting there system asks for e-mqil verification. I do receive the emails with the sixfigure number, but upon entering the code I still receive the message that the code is an error, pleae try again... amd again, and again...

why are you updating your FW?
Is there a problem now with your system?

Re: E-mail Authentification fails RBR50
I received an E-mail from Netgear yesterday titled "Important Security Firmware Update from NETGEAR" advising me to upgrade to v2.5.1.8 even though I have been running that firmware for over 2 months. I am guessing many other users received a similar E-mail from NG and are following their advise for the security update.

Re: E-mail Authentification fails RBR50
Log in to the RBRs web page using the admin and PW you set up for the RBRs log in page at 192.168.1.1 or orbilogin.com
If you need to update, you can manually download and manually apply FW updates by downloading FW files from here.
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RBK50.aspx#download
Use a wired PC and web browser for this.
Update the RBS first then RBR lastly.
