Firmware Version 2.3.1.44 Update Failed solved - sort of
I have an RBR50,RBS50 AND RBS40 and the latest update to Firmware Version 2.3.1.44 was failing from both apps and the web gui giving the message update failed against the RBS40. I assume there is a bug of some sort in the error checking protocol as RBS40 has no updated firmware yet. I sorted it out by switching off the RBS40 starting the update and then switching it back on. I didn’t wait for the update to complete before switching back on and the whole system came back to normal functionality. All working fine now, and as always, I didn’t factory reset!! I post this in case anybody else has the same issue.

Smart! I also have the RBR50, RBS50 and RBS40. Via the web the update failed but via the IOS app it worked.

Make sure your system is updated to v32 first by manually installling v212 and v32 files, then try using the UI to update to v44.
