Firmware update for RBW30 V2.1.0.18 on the website is no good

Title says it all. There is an invalid file fragment in the zip called RBW30-V2.1.0.18_1.0.9.chk that is not a firmware img file. I downloaded it twice to be sure. Leave it to Netgear....support has really gone downhill (as has maintenance of firmware).

Wow - I just noted that AND I had previously uploaded the firmware on the RBW30 with that file, and the RBW30 reports its firmware as 2.1.0.18.  I also noted that ALL of the previous firmware releases available for download are not proper image files, not just the latest one.

OK - thanks. I can confirm I have installed this. Now I hope other issues with list of connected devices not showing etc. get fixed. My RW30 does not show up on Orbi app or attached devices page of main Orbi router, but I know it is working (boots, gets blue light, light goes out and I have WiFi in area that was dead before RW30 installed).

OK, I was able to get this loaded....not sure why it didn't before.

I will let you know how it behaves.

I have installed firmware V2.1.0.18_1.0.9 on the RBW30 and V2.0.1.2 on the RBR40 and things are ok for a little while. Then there is a hiccup on the Satellite, the Orbi network goes down and drags down any device connected (via wire) to the Cable modems ethernet. I turn off the Orbi and everything starts working on the wired network again.

These are the original symptoms I complained about on another thread.

NETGEAR PLEASE HELP, we are getting nowhere and I am losing internet 1 to many times a day. I am on Spectrum 300Mbs plan and there have been no regional problems reported.

BTW, I had replaced the mesh network with Google WiFi and did not have these issues (it ran clean for over a week), plug the orbi back in and problems over the entire network.
