Guest wifi network and main wifi network channels overlap
Hi, I setup a guest wifi network on the Orbi RBK23, but I notice that the wifi channels assigned to the guest network are exactly the same as the ones of my main wifi network (both on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands). Is this normal? I believe this could cause interferences. Is there any way of manually assigning different frequencies to guest wifi network?
(using Firmware Version V2.3.1.44)
Model: RBR20|Orbi AC2200 Tri-band WiFi Router

Re: Guest wifi network and main wifi network channels overlap
this is normal. the devices only have one wifi transmitter per band (for the most part). It allows you to setup the guest so it doesn't have full access to your network. It wouldn't have any more interference than 2 devices talking to your regular wifi at the same time.
Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity
