Help - New to Orbi

Hi All,

New to this and just purchased  - NETGEAR RBK43  I am currently running v2.0.0.56. everything seems to be okay apart from this morning and was showing full wifi but bvery slow speeds. I switched everything off and on and seems to have resolved but wanted to see if i should do a firmware update. I am a bit worried about it as seen so many bad things about the latest update so not sure if i should leave as is.

I have switched off bema forming and mu-mimo based on what has been discussed on the forums but wondered if there was anything else i should do or just leave as is and also on the current firmeware version.

Any help is much appreciated

thanks in advance. Brett from the UK

Re: Help - New to Orbi

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem?

What is the distance between the router and satellite? Any building materials in between?

What channels are you using?

Any wifi neighbors near by? If so, how many? What channels are they using?

Check to see if Daisy Chain or Fast Roaming is enabled, you can disable these.
