Help with Optimum (Altice) Fiber and Router that cannot bridge

As soon as I saw those Altice mini boxes I had a contest with my friend on who could throw them further into the ocean. LOL. Junk!!!
I’ve got the Altice router wired into the Orbi which is set in AP mode. Two satellites connected and everything is good for now.

Did you have to reset the Orbi to factory?
I cannot access it at all unless I hook it up to the old modem which I have not disconnected yet.

- I have fiber lines. So there’s no longer a stand alone modem. Optimum gives me a router/modem combo which can not be replaced. So I leave that in place and connect the Orbi and put it in AP mode and connect everything to that. No I didn’t have to factory reset. Just need to go into admin tools and set to AP mode.
