Honeywell RedLink Gets IP from Orbi but doesn't connect to Honeywell

Recently installed the Honeywell thermostat with the REDLink connection. The REDLink won't get an internet connectcion to Honeywell.
I've tried plugging into a switch off the RBR50 and directly into the RBR50. I see the REDLink in the list of connected devices and it has an IP assigned, but the internet connection flashes green and then goes to solid amber.
Any ideas on the issue?
Thanks

Issue resolved, posting this here for any other travelers that come this way.
After going over the preface to the instructions with a fine tooth comb, there was a passing reference to needing to bond a thermostat to the REDLink prior to attempting to connect to the honeywell redlink servers. After finding out how to do that and completing that activity, the interface module linked up first time.
Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Honeywell RedLink Gets IP from Orbi but doesn't connect to Honeywell
I searched for "Honeywell REDlink" and got a web site with a bewildering amount of content. Could you please be a little more specific about exactly what products you have and how they are connected?
Thanks

Re: Honeywell RedLink Gets IP from Orbi but doesn't connect to Honeywell
Sure. on my side:
Google Fiber jack connected directly to an RBR50 as the base router.
2 RBS50 satellites
New gear:
THM6000R7001 RedLINK Internet Gateway connected to one of the ports on the RBR50. The port is good since I swapped a connection from it to the nearby switch and all that continues to work as expected.
Since the gateway shows up in the connected device list on the RBR50, I'm assuming the cable is good as well.
This is part of a Honeywell Prestige IAQ kit that came with the new furnace we had installed today.
Have tried power cycling the gateway. Currently it has been "flashing green" for the past hour or so, which is supposed to indicate that it is communicating with the cloud service, but not sure.
