Horror story in reference to NBK752 order (Orbi 5G Mesh)

Ordered brand new 5G cell Orbi Router/Satellite system off Amazon. Received, de-boxed and set up a few months later (don't ask, lol). Threw out box(es).

Router and Satellite refuse to sync. Spent about 10 hours of self help and then called Netgear and was on phone with them for hours.

First, they told me to return to Amazon, but when I explained that I was outside of return window and didn't have the boxes, etc. they said they would do RMA.

Netgear was/is sure the Satellite is the only unit problematic, but myself being somewhat familiar in this field, I feel it could easily be the router as well. They refuse(d) to RMA both items. Still do.

The main thing that they had me try was different combinations of the firmware. The most common variation they were focused on was

Router: V4.6.5.11_1.5.64 (latest)

Satellite: V4.6.14.3 (I think this is the latest)

Nothing worked. Still doesn't.

They then tried to upsell me on 2 packages to receive a replacement Satellite faster. I refused.

They said I must pay for shipping costs.

So, I ordered a new system off of Amazon. It works great. The firmware versions are drastically different:

Router was out of the box = ...1.5.50

Satellite was = a version 3! Specifically, ..._1.4.9

For some very strange reason Netgear refuses the download of these supported firmware versions. I suspect this is related to the issue.

If I can get the older firmware downloads then I can put them on the original Orbi system I bought, and just return the new system to Amazon. But if I can't find the downloads, what do I do? How do I get the downloads? I don't want to support this crazy RMA process.
