How to connect Orbi RBR40 to ATT fiberoptic
I just had ATT fiberoptic installed. It came with a router/modem all in one. I have tried everything to get the Orbi router to connect to the internet through the ATT unit, but it stays purple and “can’t find Wi-Fi”.
Any suggestions?

Re: How to connect Orbi RBR40 to ATT fiberoptic
What is the make and model of the ATT modem/router?
If the ATT unit has router functionality then this can explain the issues that you see, in that case you need either to set the ATT router to bridge/passthrough mode or set Orbi in AP mode.

Re: How to connect Orbi RBR40 to ATT fiberoptic
Yes, this is a router. Please set Orbi in AP mode. Follow these steps please:
- Use any browser on a computer attached to Orbi
- Go to orbilogin.com and login using the username admin and the password that you choose during the setup.
- Go to >> ADVANCED >> Advanced Setup>> Router / AP Mode and select AP Mode.
