IPv6 DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation

Hi   My ISP requires Prefix Delegation for IPv6 support.   Is there a way to configure the RBK50 router to fetch prefix delegation from my ISP? Or is it not supported?   /Morten

What is your ISP. I have my system working fine with BT in the UK and that requires PD.

    The prefix delegation bit isn't anything special, I believe you select DHCP as the IPv6 WAN connection type and it should be automatic.

      These are my settings but as stated above, I didn’t do anything fancy, it just worked but I know BT uses PD.

        Hi

         

        Thanks for the reply. My ISP do not support PPPoE, they uses direct connection.

         

        From the information I have been given, the router must support prefix delegation over DHCP. But setting it to DHCP do nothing.

        I will try to contact NG support
