Just a KUDOS for the Orbi mesh Router setup RBR50 with RBS50 Satellite
After working with computers, and some time inthe computer industry, a total of 35 years, this has been my best Router setup ever. It wasn't just the extra technology that made my decision, I wanted reliability and performance. I get ever so tired of issues with the lower performace, and also in the past was trying to save money, usually bouth the under $100.00 computer routers. I didn't need a modem this go round as my cable company privdes fiber optic to our homes and it is all their at that point. I live out in the countryside in a very small town. We have our own cable company for the town. Their equipment is excellent. Of course they have recommended routers, and can provide one to those that will pay for the offered cable compnay router and other stuff. They are getting rid of all the big cable boxes and older techology and now customers have to switch over to the Amazon Firestick for each tv, wireless by the end of this year (2020). NO noteable problems there, I did my upgrades and switchovers, I have Firesticks on each tv. I have many computers, and also have wireless cameras on the property.
The performance of the Orbi has been very good, and am pleased. It is well worth paying for the Mesh system RBR50V2 plus the sattelite RBS50. The mesh gives all the speed and bandwith for the computers, TV's computers, cameras, gaming. After about one year, it has been very good. I can't tell how big of a proprty it will cover, but can say for mine it has worked great as far as coverage, and would probably deliver even more square footage if I moved them further apart, I just don't need to them cover more area at this time. The mesh network works fine in my 2,000 sq. foot living area, plus outside cameras. I also provide coverage to a 3rd router via wired with the RJ-45 jack to a 3rd rotuer for an outbuilding and more wifi from that. So, it really privodes alot of coverage. I really don't see any issues that have caused any problems at this point, and updates have been good and easy when new patches come out. I am not going to say the wireless is perfect, but then again none are, but it is as close as I have ever seen. The TV wireless Firesticks sually work just fine and watch and records shows without issues. And, if there are any glitches it usually is the firestick setup or design. But I would let those minor issues stop me from enjoying the Orbi Mesh. The Netgear (Arlo camera which are wirless around the property get good wireless back and forth, and our phones gets very good services from Mesh the Router). Interface and portforwarding works very good as I have alot of ports as I do lots of online activity with the need for the control of ports. Also using very good extra security above what Windows 10 comes with, I buy Antivirus subscription. So, if you are on the fence or other concerns, those are my experiences. o e more thing, I had the opportunity to buy the latest CAT cable for my ISP modem (fiber optic line) to my ORBI router and found lierally no noticale difference in performance between Cat 5e and Cat 6. But, future proofing with the newer Cat cable is good. I just wanted to put in a good word, as I know there are some people that might find the info useful.

Being in the business myself, the Netgear Orbi line is our first choice and always first recommendation to our clients.
Their AX line is equally as reliable and offer greta coverage and higher speeds.
I'm glad you are enjoying your new Orbi system.
