LBR20 PPoE VLAN ID with Mobile Failover
Model
LBR20
Firmware
2.6.5.32
Configuration
LBR20 is connected directly to the ONT ( Optical Network Terminal) via RJ45.
Connection
- Fiber PPoE connection requiring <VLAN by tag group> configuration
- 4G with Tesco Mobile Ireland
Issue
- Fiber PPoE connection drops when mobile data is selected as failover, the LBR20 connects to the mobile network, even if fiber is available.
- VLAN/ Bridge Settings is disabled, when mobile data is selected as failover
- Settings are kept for : VLAN / Bridge Settings, but they are "ignored" by the router.
The Fiber connection works fine on its own , as well as the mobile connection, however it is impossible to select mobile as failover, since this forces the router to "ignore" VLAN / Bridge settings and disconnects from fiber.
If you disable mobile connection, the Fiber comes back online and VLAN/Bridge is accessible again.
Request
Update LBR20 firmware to allow VLAN/Bridge settings to be kept when mobile is selected as failover.
