Hi folks.
I've been trying to use FTP downloads to my PC but can't get the data connection to work.
It was working fine when I had a DGND3700 but when I changed to Orbi the problems started.
Through working with guys on help forums, it seems the Orbi stops the data connections NAT style.
Does anyone know how I can bypass any restriction?
I've added the ports to the forwarding section already.

After managing to borrow another router I found it wasn’t the NAT that was causing the problem.
I did however find it was due to some bad coding in my server.
Thanks for the help

Re: NAT Stopping FTP
What orbi model system do you have?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Re: NAT Stopping FTP
Thanks for the quick response.
It's an RBR50 with V2.7.4.24
There's no model number on the modem but it's supplied by Virgin Media.
However it's the same one that worked ok with my last router.

Re: NAT Stopping FTP
Would need more information on the Virgin Media modem. Most of these have a built in router which could cause problems. Need the model # to verify this...
