NAT issue for switch / in general - RBR50

Hi all,
I have been having NAT issues for the past 4 months since I moved house.
I have a public IP address so I believe that means it isn't double NAT?

My setup is:
Main orbi ethernet into ps4, tv, A pc
Satellite ethernet into A pc
Wireless into two phones, two switchs (only one of which has been portforwarded etc)

I was able to fix Destiny 2 by port forwarding it but since I got Animal Crossing last week I have not been able to port forward to fix that. Nintendo recommends you open up all ports (1-65535) but my router says I can only do 1-65534. It also doesn't let me do this as it says something is conflicting with it, even though as far as I can tell I have removed everything that could be.

I have given my switch a static IP and that seems to work. I tried setting my switch to be my default DMZ server, that didn't work.

I tried disabling daisy-chain topology on the advice of some random forum thread.

I have enabled and disabled UPnP with no change.

At this point I am at a loss? I have no idea what else I could try to get this to work.
I am also going to contact my ISP to ask for advice.

I am happy to provide any additional information and try any ideas at this point.

Thanks!

It ended up being an issue on my ISPs end. I contacted them and they were able to fix it instantly.

It isn't a fun solution but it was the only thing that fixed it.

Please start by identifying exactly the modem the Orbi is connected to (brand/model).

I am confused by "wireless into two switches".  Typically, a switch has nothing to do with wireless.

It appears that all three ethernet ports on the Orbi are in use, so how are these two switches connected?

(or, are these "electrical switches" to control light bulbs?)

@CrimpOn Sorry I realise that was confusing. Two Nintendo Switchs, the gaming console. I forgot that a switch is actually a networking thing as well, my bad.

The Orbi isn't connected to a modem. It is connect to an NBN system. A thing we have here in Australia that is built into the home. This: https://support.belong.com.au/nbn/order/what-is-the-difference-between-a-nbn-utility-box-and-a-nbn-c...

Wow, fiber.  Maybe more research into Animal Crossing is in order:

So putting in those TCP numbers didn't help
I am only able to set UDP between 13000-65534 as anything under 13000 says it is in use even though nothing enabled says it is using it from what I can see
and 65535 says it is an invalid range.

I'm having the same exact problem. Did you ever find a solution?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

I believe the consensus is that forwarding every possible UDP port through the Orbi to a specific computer will render the network unusable.

The traditional approach to this problem is to set the device as the DMZ server.  (I believe) what this means is that the device will receive every packet that comes to the modem at the same time as the Orbi receives them.  The DMZ device is supposed to ignore any packets that are not "intended" for it.  So, for example, when someone playing Animal Crossing tries to open a connection to your Nintendo Switch, the Orbi will ignore it (the Orbi ignores all connection attempts except those that are specifically opened), but the Nintendo will accept it.

So, it is a mystery why putting the Nintendo Switch into the DMZ did not work.

Can you please look at the IP address the network has given your Orbi on the "Internet" side?  (This is on the Advanced Tab Home Page, in the box labelled "Internet").  Is this a "public" or a "private" IP address?

(Private IP addresses begin with 10.0.0, 192.168, or 172.16.  All other IP addresses are "public".)

Thanks

I am having the same exact problem! I was wondering if you knew what your ISP did on their end to help out?

I tried calling my ISP and they stated that the issue is with my router and port forwarding...
