Netgear compatibility with Verizon FioS devices
I have Verizon Fios with modem ONT I-211M-L and Fido's quantum gateway router. Signal strength was not enough for the whole house. So I have bought orbi RBR 50. It worked fine for a year. It started giving me issues. It says no internet on orbi. Very few apps work like netflix. Apps like amazon prime say no internet connection. Even have problem with kids school laptop. If I reset to factory settings and set up as a new router it will work fine for a week or so and then same issue. Orbi says out of warranty. Verizon says they are not compatible. I have to buy their approved products. Expensive orbi product and waste of Money if they are not compatible with Verizon. I have tried another old netgear router and same issue. I have noticed that lot of people have problems with netgear and Verizon combo. Please advise if I have to spend another $200 to buy Verizon approved WiFi extender.
