ORBI RBR20 router is offline but satellite is online
The problem is ORBI RBR20 router is offline (red dot on app) but satellite is online (green dot on app). This cannot be right. I disconnected the ISP router and connected the Orbi to the Gigibit mode...

Thanks. I suspect that the issue is the Nokia does not provide a "public" IP address to the Orbi, and thus the Orbi thinks it is not connected to the Internet. One clue is that the Nokia provides (4) ethernet ports and seems to be doing "router stuff". (IGMP snooping, QoS, VLAN's)

When searching for information on the Nokia, I came across this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/dubai/comments/a39kc5/du_router_nokia_g240gc_login_credentials/
I understand this is all absurd because the Orbi obviously IS connected to the internet since "it works."

Now there are two questions:
- How can the Orbi app display a green dot for the satellite when the router has a red dot?
Answer: the dots indicate different things. - How can user devices be working when the Orbi router "ring light" at the top is red (technically "magenta")?
When you unplugged the ISP wifi/router and plugged in the Orbi, did you power off the fiber box for a minute and then turn it back on?
It is the yellow (WAN) port on the RBR20 that is connected to the fiber box?

The ring on top is not illuminated.
The app front page shows:
INTERNET
Offline
SATELLITES
1
Network Map
Internet (green dot)
Router (red dot)
Satellite (green dot)
I get wifi all over but why is the app telling me its offline?
