Orbi RBR50, Firmware V2.3.5.30
Acer Aspire Windows 10 64 bit updated 20.01.20
with Intel AC 9560 160MHz,
Driver 21.60.2.1 (date15.12.19) but problem exists same what driver I use
Connect to 5GHz but no internet connection. Sometimes 2.4GHz
PC used to work fine with high speed wireless Internet = 600Mbps.
Now below 50Mbps.
Wireless only works with Channel width set to 20 MHz in 5GHz band under advances settings for Intel AC 9560. If I sett to "Automatic" it does not connect at all.
Deleted Network Card several times, Reinstalled PC after talking to Acer. ;-(
Tried PC at friends place and it worked fine with value set to automatic. He does not have Orbi.
Sons PC with other wireless card works fine with automatic.
I assume there is some conflict with the Intel AC 9560 trying to connect to Orbi in 160Mhz ?
Please advice

Re: Only 20MHz in 5GHz band works for Intel Wireless-AC 9560 with Orbi RBK50
Orbi doesn't support 160Mhz channel width on it's 1st 5Ghz radio. It is supported on it's 2nd 5Ghz radio, however that is ONLY for the wireless backhaul channel between the RBR and RBS. This is not usable by any connected client deivce nor configurable by a user.
Any 5Ghz devices should support and connect at 866Mbps on the 1st 5Ghz radio at 40Mhz channel width. If the adapter is not connecting at this rate, the adapter maybe faulty or mis-configured. I would try a different non intel adapter in the PC to see if the problem continues or not.
Also update FW to v2.5.1.8 as well on the entire system. A factory reset and setup from scratch would be recommended after the FW update.
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Tried to update firmware but got the “incorrect firmware” message.
I will look into the other ideas tomorrow.

Re: Only 20MHz in 5GHz band works for Intel Wireless-AC 9560 with Orbi RBK50
I know this is totally "off the wall", but the thought that an Intel WiFi adapter will not connect to a Netgear router is pretty difficult to accept.
Am I correct that the problem is "no internet", not "no connection"?
There have been a number of instances reported where the Orbi Access Control gets turned on and new devices are "Denied access to internet." On the Orbi web interface, what does it say about the Acer computer when it is connected to Orbi? (Hint: does the word "Blocked" appear in red?)
If this is the case, I would navigate to the Advanced Tab, Security, Access Control. First, I would uncheck Access Control (turn it off) and click on "Apply". If you want to use Access Control, then this specific WiFi adapter has to be put into the "Allowed" table.
Whether Orbi or Acer does or does not support a specific bandwidth should be immaterial. WiFi adapters follow standards, and the standards are nearly always "backward compatible." When set to "Auto", the adapter should negotiate with Orbi and connect at the setting that is best.

Be sure to unzip the downloaded files. Use IE11, Firefox or Opera when upgrading FW on the RBS first then RBR lastly.

With my other laptop I get 500 mbps.
Sometimes i Get error messages from my network card. Always when set to “auto”.
I can try all you suggestions, but I think my intel card is damaged.

I am trying to reconcile. (1) this card worked at a friend's house, (2) the card is now connected and gets 100mps download, (3) the intel card is damaged.
What happened between it would connect but got no internet, and now when it connects and has internet?

Re: Only 20MHz in 5GHz band works for Intel Wireless-AC 9560 with Orbi RBK50
IT works only when set to 20MHz.
Sometimes it seams to connect to Orbi on “automatic” but no data passes. Link rate in Orbi = N/A
My other pc with Intel AC 8265 works in both modes and full speed.

If your other laptop gets to spec speeds and this one with the Intel card installed does, I would presume this one Intel card is faulty and needs to be replaced.
