How do I check if my Orbi is current on security?

    Security is in the hands of the firmware that you have installed on your RBR50 and any satellites.

     

    Netgear tries to help with its on=board checks for firmware updates. Unfortunately, these are not as reliable as they could be, sometimes missing out on newer version.

     

    The best guarantee is to check the support pages for your hardware.

     

    Support | NETGEAR

    That page will have a library of all the available versions of firmware for your device.

    Compare the firmware version installed on your router with that list.
