Re: Orbi Blocking Websites - Solved
This solved my problem but is the hacker now able to steal my information because I basically told the router to allow the https request, regardless of the certificate being expired or not expired? Where are my comments going? Why are they disappearing. I am having major issues because Deep State scumbags are attacking me, to keep me silenced. https://covertmassgenocide.com https://deepstatecriminals.com How can I resolve this issue [DoS Attack: RST Scan] from source: 18.136.3.76, port 8888, Friday, June 04, 2021 17:32:42
[DoS Attack: SYN/ACK Scan] from source: 52.162.107.6, port 443, Friday, June 04, 2021 17:29:43 Why does noboby seem to have a solution for DOS and DDOS attacks? How come restoring my router to factory defaults does not resolve the issue?

Re: Orbi Blocking Websites - Solved
That's strange how my Orbi RBR20 router did not produce the following error when trying to login by entering 192.168.1.1 into the browser and logged me in just fine for the longest time and then out of the blue I am no longer able to do this without changing a setting on my router to allow all https sites through. This seems very odd and incorrect. I sure hope this information is coming from an experienced networking and security professional at Netgear. You can't blame me for questioning it. While I'm inside the setting to block or allow services shouldn't I also add "DNS?" for all websites? Where can I find clear instructions that explain the use of these different settings?
Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 192.168.1.1

Re: Orbi Blocking Websites - Solved
Right out of the box, I was getting the "your connection is not private" message on nearly every website I visited. After going through my account on orbilogin.com, I found that the problem was that the default date on my device was not updated. Under the advanced tab > Administration > NTP Settings, the current time showed January 20, 2021. When I clicked the Apply button, it connected with the Netgear NTP server and updated the current time to today's date / time. After this, now I am able to access all the websites without any issues.

Thank you very much. This method fixed my apple tv's, and my email links.
