Orbi NBK50 not recognized by older Samsung Smart TV

New setup?
is the tv dependent on either 2.4 or 5g but not both?
does the tv require an iPhone for setup?
Well a new setup using the Orbi. The TV connected in the past with WiFi from my Uverse router/modem. I'm not sure if the TV can use one or the other or both. I've searched but can't find the answer. The TV isn't configured using an Iphone app. It's configured directly on the TV.
